alpilou is a private nursery for children aged 3-18 months situated in the centre of Haute Nendaz.

Core values

alpilou provides a calm and nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow through play and exploration.

The aim is to promote holistic development and foster learning and creativity in a safe and stimulating environment that is suitable for the ages 3-18 months. The caregivers are not simply sources of information but rather collaborators and facilitators of learning.

The nursery provides all infants with a hands-on opportunity to engage with toys and materials, promoting exploration through play using a combination of open-ended and close-ended materials. Allowing their creativity and curiosity to flourish.

  • No! alpilou provides all nappies, wipes, and creams; all included in the standard daily rate

  • alpilou provides morning and afternoon snack. Parents must provide their child’s main meal of the day

  • Of course! Parents can stock our fridge/freezer with breastmilk, mothers can come into the nursery at any time to breastfeed

  • alpilou has a capacity of 10 infants. The nursery operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend registering early to secure a place

  • Yes, we have 4 different daily options

  • We have a field on our doorstop so will spend plenty of time outside

  • Yes, tourists and children outside of the commune are welcome at the nursery
